MS Word Tip of the Day
In MS Word, if I am reviewing a document, clicking the “Accept” or “Reject” button over and over slows me down. So, I assigned an easy keyboard shortcut to jump through this very quickly.
Instructions:
1. MS Word menu -> Word options -> Customize -> Keyboard Shortcuts (Customize)
2. Select “Review Tab”.
3. Assign “AcceptChangesOrAdvance” to “Ctrl+”
4. Assign “RejectChangesOrAdvance” to Ctrl-
That’s it. Much faster.
Turkey for me and turkey for you
We had Thanksgiving dinner with 100 friends, with four turkeys, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and all the usual dishes. And what did the kids eat? White rice and shnitzel.
Contractors…
Me: Wow, the tile looks great.
Contractor: Thanks.
Me: What’s that valve sticking out in the middle of the wall?”
Contractor: That’s the water cut off.
Me: I know that… Why is it in the middle of the wall?
Contractor: Because that’s where the pipe is.
Me: Well, why is the pipe in the middle of the wall instead of behind the sink!?!
Contractor: Because that’s where the plumber put it.
Me: Can we move it?
Contractor: Yep, we can rip out the whole bathroom and re-do it.
Me: Oy… never mind.
